ABOUT PARENTING WITH FAITH
Parenting with Faith is a support group committed to creating a safe, judgment-free space for parents of children facing life challenges, including disabilities, mental health issues, and identity journeys. Our mission is to provide parents in the Hampton Roads area with the support, resources, and community they need to navigate their unique parenting journeys with confidence and compassion. We believe that no parent should feel alone, and we are dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where families can find encouragement and guidance.
We strive to cultivate open discussions while ensuring privacy and anonymity for all members. Through shared experiences, mutual support, and access to valuable resources, we empower parents to face challenges with strength and understanding. Our vision is to build a connected and uplifting community where every voice matters and every story contributes to greater awareness and progress.

MEET THE OWNER

I'm Natalie Parker—a mother of two with over thirteen years of experience in the medical field. Throughout my career and personal journey, I've witnessed the struggles parents face when their children deal with mental health challenges, identity issues, behavioral concerns, or even encounters with the legal system. I understand how harsh judgments and a lack of genuine support can leave you feeling isolated and torn between your child and your community.
That's why our faith-based support group exists. We believe in the healing power of prayer and the strength that comes from relying on God and one another. Our mission is to connect parents who have overcome these challenges with those who are currently navigating them, providing a safe, compassionate space to share experiences, offer guidance, and uplift each other. No parent should ever have to face these battles alone.
